The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company was founded in 1898, in Akron in the United States. Today Goodyear has 96 companies in 28 countries, including the United States, and employs more than 80,000 people.
In Brazil, Goodyear started its activities in 1919, with a sales office and a warehouse, selling imported products. |

In 1939, its first industrial unit was opened in the neighborhood of Belenzinho, in São Paulo. The second company to be established in Brazil was inaugurated in 1973, in Americana, in the countryside of the state of São Paulo.
In the country, Goodyear has a network of 160 official tires salesmen in more than 1,100 shops.
The 2007 Goodyear Sales Convention was organized by “Tempo de Aventura Viagens” in the largest and best equipped beach resort, Serhs Natal Grand Hotel. The week was planned to combine training and relaxation through the various activities that took place. Our event organizing and logistics, together with the excellent structure of Serhs were fundamental for the success of this group. |
