1st day – Rio de Janeiro

Arrival at Rio de Janeiro
Transfer from the airport to the hotel
Accommodation at Hotel Sol Ipanema or similar.

2nd day – Rio de Janeiro/ Campo Grande/Pantanal

Arrival at Campo Grande.
Transfer from the airport to Pantanal. It is a 3 hours trip to get to the farm. Accommodation and free afternoon to stay at the pool or to go for a walk to watch the sunset at Morro do Corixo. Dinner and overnight at Pousada Sao Francisco or similar.

3rd day – Pantanal

Departure in the morning for a photographic safari on the forest reserve area and the rice fields of the farm. Track that runs along side of Rio Miranda. Lunch.
In the afternoon a tour on a “chalana” at Corixo Sao Domingos.and “piranha” fishing. By the end of the afternoon we will taste a “piranha” soup, called :Viagra do Pantanal”. In the evening, dinner and a ride on a safari car to a night view of animals of the jungles.
Accomodation at Pousada Sao Francisco or similar.

4th day – Pantanal/ Bonito

Wake up very early to milk a cow (optional). After breakfast a ride on horseback through the thick forests of the farm (wonderful sightseeing).
Come back to have lunch and departure to Bonito
Arrival at Bonito and accommodation at Hotel Jandia or similar.

5th day- Bonito

After breakfast, departure to Gruta do Lago Azul. After going down 100 m., we can see a lagoon with incredible blue waters. When the sun rays reflect on the water, they make a spectacle of rare beauty.
After the tour, lunch at the city. In the afternoon we will ride a boat on Rio Formoso. The sail is on inflated boats, very safe,, through 6 km till Ilha do Padre, where the visitors will have the opportunity to admire the fauna and flora, besides the thrilling rafting on the water falls.
Free evening to rest or to hang out.

6th day – Bonito

After breakfast, departure to Cachoeiras do Rio de Peixe, with a leisurely walk into Fazenda Agua Viva, in one of the most beautiful spots of the region. The track goes through several water-falls and natural pools.
On the farm house there will be an excellent lunch, prepared by the owner of the farm, all included.
Free evening to rest or to hang out.

7th day – Bonito

After breakfast, departure to the superficial diving in Rio da Prata, which starts on the head of Rio Olho D’Agua. We will get there by walking on a track through the woods by Rio da Prata.
On the way, we will watch the rich flora, and we will be able to observe birds and other animals such as mutum, udu, macaco-prego, cutia and queixada.
In the end of the track, a new world will be seen for the aquatic part of the tour starts.
We will drift along an immense aquarium of crystal waters, extremely rich in animal and vegetal life. Dourados, Pacus, Piraputangas and Curimbas will swim next to you.
Free afternoon to rest or to hang out.

8th day – Bonito/ Campo Grande/ Rio de Janeiro

Transfer to the airport, arrival at Rio de Janeiro and departure to your final destination.

Fazenda San Francisco occupies 14,800 hectares and produces irrigated rice and raises cattle. The ranch, on the left margin of the Miranda river is in the basin of the high waters of the Paraguay River and receives water from the central Bodoquena range and the Miranda and Salobra rivers and flows to the Paraguay River.

The ranch is on an asphalt highway, BR-262 that connects Campo Grande to Corumbá. The trip requires 3 hours from Campo Grande and 4 hours from Bonito. The farms roads are of gravel and kept in good condition. The headquarters of the farm are 6 km from the entrance. Small cars and buses have easy access. There is runway for small planes.
