The large French chain of laboratories AXCAN brought its selected employees from its branch in Paris, to Natal in May 2008, for a few days of rest and amusement.
After the groups’ arrival at Serhs Natal Grand Hotel, the participants were received with a welcoming cocktail, especially prepared by the Piano Bar. A small “Capoeira” demonstration followed, showing a little of our culture.
The next day, in the morning, they went on a buggy trip to the dunes of Genipabú and the beaches on the north coast. After the trip, at the end of the afternoon, they made the most of the wide variety of products available in one of the main arts and craft centres, and bought souvenirs from the city of the sun.

After the shopping, they went to Pipa beach, where they stayed at the Hotel Ponta do Madeiro, the most charming of all, located above Madeiro beach, considered one of the most beautiful on the Brazilian coast.
On Saturday in the morning, there was a buggy trip to the south coastline of the state, passing by Barra do Cunhaú, Baía Formosa and Coca-Cola lake (Lagoa da Coca-cola), arriving at the border of the state of Paraíba, in the village of Sagi.
On Sunday, they had a free day, and then went to Natal airport, where they returned to France. |
